1. Before connecting to a wireless router, you need to know the status of your next-level router: the IP address of the router, the IP address assigned to you, the DNS address, and the subnet mask.

To learn more about the above information, check your network connection and double-click the network connection icon in the lower-right corner of your computer-> supported), which contains your IP address, gateway, and subnet mask. The local machine is as follows:

Obviously, the router IP address is 192.168.1.1, The subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, and the local IP address is 192.168.1.27. The DNS is not displayed. you can log on to the vro to view it. If you do not have the permission to log on to the vro, you can check your local DNS. Here is 202.96.134.small.

Connect the network cable to the WAN port of your wireless router and connect your computer from any LAN port. Log on to your vro. If you have set up your wireless router before, restore the factory settings and log on to your router, it can be used to restore the factory settings or press the RESET key on the vro for more than 7 seconds )). Enter the user name and password before logon:

After logging on to the vro, the following figure is displayed:

Select a static IP address and use the IP address assigned to you by the router at the upper level to set the static IP address. Click "Next" to set the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS:

Obviously, the IP address set here is the IP address of your original host because this IP address is not restricted on the upper-level router ). After setting, click "Next ",

Click "save". At this point, the basic settings of the wireless router are complete. In addition, to enable the wireless Internet access function of your vro, it depends on your own settings.

Restart the vro to make your settings take effect:

About 15 seconds later, the vro automatically restarts to see if you can connect to the Internet?

When connecting to a wireless router, you must note that the IP address of the wireless router must not be in the same network segment as that of the upper-level router, otherwise, your wireless router will prompt you with an error and you will not be able to connect to the Internet. In addition, it is best to activate the DHCP function of your wireless router so that the host can automatically obtain the IP address without manual settings.
