How to set the system power button in win8.1

The function of the notebook power button is sleep by default. If you need to press the power button to shut down, you can reset the power options. The specific operation method is as follows:

1. In desktop mode, find the Start button in the lower left corner and right-click it.

 

2. Select control panel ].

 

3. Select hardware and sound ].

 

4. Select power options ].

 

5. Click Select power button ].

 

6. You can see that "when you press the power button" is set to "sleep", as shown in the figure below:

 

7. Set the power button to shutdown, and click Save Changes ].
