Recently I changed my computer and downloaded the JDK user manual. When I opened the manual, the prompt "this page cannot be displayed" was displayed, while the directory tree is displayed normally, which is strange. So I found a solution.
Microsoft's official explanation is that some websites and HTML Help documents cannot work after Security Update 896358 or 890175 is installed.
Address: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892675
But I thinkArticleThe update does not seem to be necessary. After all, the CHM contains much less viruses than the EXE, so the Registry method is actually used:
=========== Do not copy me, start ================
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/Microsoft/htmlhelp]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/Microsoft/htmlhelp/1.x/ hhrestrictions]
"Maxallowedzone" = DWORD: 00000003
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/Microsoft/htmlhelp/1.x/ itssrestrictions]
"Maxallowedzone" = DWORD: 00000003
=========== Do not copy me, end ==============
This is a fundamental solution, or there is a solution for separate CHM files:
Right-click the CHM File, select "properties", and click "unlock.
