What we bring to you today is to create an Apple system installation USB flash drive at no cost, with an installation tutorial for the Apple system.
The Apple system has always been stable, and there is basically no need to consider Reinstallation, but there are exceptions in everything, such as changing the hard disk, not wanting to change back to the new system, too many junk software, and so on. In practice, if you use a USB flash drive to install the Apple operating system, the time consumption will be much less than that of the CD, especially for air users. What's more, the disc will be worn out, and will be scrapped if it is not properly stored. Therefore, you can prepare a system USB flash drive.
Below I will give you the process of making the system USB flash drive, hoping to help the majority of Mac users.
Tools/Raw Materials
STEP/Method
The word "zero cost" remains to be discussed. After all, you still need to have a USB flash drive, and the capacity should be no less than 4 GB. Here I am using an 8 GB ultra disk.
Of course, you still need a computer that runs the Mac OS X system. Black Apple hasn't verified it yet, but theoretically it can.
The apple System File depends on the wisdom of everyone to ask du Niang, the original system image is easy to find, ISO, DMG can all, we do not recommend that you use a black apple system image that has modified the kernel. Here, I use the 10.7 lion system installation file with the suffix DMG.
Plug in the USB flash drive and format the USB flash drive with the built-in disk tool. Select Mac OS extension as the format.
After formatting, select recover. Select your system installation file for the source disk. The destination disk is the partition of the formatted disk. Drag the mouse to the box.
After you click "Recover", the USB flash drive will take about 20 minutes to create. This depends on the speed of your USB flash drive.
When you need to reinstall the system, plug in the prepared Apple system USB flash disk, boot press option to select USB flash disk to start.
After starting the USB flash drive, if you see the following screen: there was a problem installing Mac OS X. try reinstalling, then you need to reset pram by: starting the instance, pressing command, option, P, R (not including the Pause Number) at the same time before the gray screen appears ), until the computer restarts and hears the boot sound, release these buttons.
The remaining steps are the same as those for the CD installation. Follow the prompts to proceed.
Select a system language.
To completely reinstall the disk, you must format the disk and use the disk tool.
Case-sensitive software may fail to run.
Log out of the disk and choose to reinstall Mac OS X.
Familiar with the installation process. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
The entire installation process requires two reboots, which takes about half an hour, which is much faster than the 1-hour drive.
After you set your Apple id, the system account is automatically generated.
Go to the desktop, and you'll be done. Remember to modify the touchpad gestures and other personalized settings that suit you.
