How to use keylight in Adobe AE

Open the AE software, import the material you need, and then create a new synthesis.

Double-click the Project panel and select the color to import. The Keylight plug-in is a very powerful tool that has been acquired by Adobe to become an internal plugin.

Add keylight effects to the footage.

Select the material that needs to be dug up, in the right side of the special effects and preferences select key--in the selection of the Keylight effect can be, and then add the keylight effect to the synthesis, add the method directly dragged to the synthesis can be.

Select the color you want to remove.

In the Keylight Control Panel, there is a screen color option, click on the back of the eyedropper button, the material above select the color click. The color of the selection after the strike is automatically deleted.

Further use Keylight to modify the details of the cutout.

The above example is relatively simple, the color contrast is very obvious, sometimes our background saturation is different, then we need to further adjust.

Toggle view Mode-screen mask mode. Then the material will become black and white gray three kinds of color pale:

Black: completely transparent. White: completely opaque. Gray: Translucent.

What we need to do is turn the gray parts into black.

Adjusts the color of the screen mask.

Expand the screen mask's options bar, adjust the trim black and trim white two options to make the gray area of the material black or white.

If there is less gray, we can also directly adjust the screen gain to adjust the color, after the adjustment is completed do not forget to see the way back to the original final effect.

Remove the extra color border.

If we pick up the footage around the background color of the remaining color border, we need to further adjust. We can adjust it by replacing the color. , or it can be adjusted by the effect of feathering.
