The Outlook Express address book provides a convenient place to store contact information. However, when there are more and more contacts, it becomes more and more troublesome to search. In this case, you should group contacts.
You can create a Contact Group to send emails to a group of recipients, such as business partners, relatives, or friends. Whenever you want to send an email to all users in the group, you only need to use the group name instead of entering each contact separately. The specific method is as follows:
1. In the address book, click the new button on the toolbar, and then click the new group to open the Properties dialog box.
2. In the Group Name box, type the group name.
3. Add personal data to the group. You can add a person from the address book list, click Select member, and then click a name in the address book list. To use the directory service, click Select member and then click search. Select a directory service from the drop-down list at the bottom of the text box, find and select an address, it will be automatically added to your address book; to add a person to a group without adding a name to the address book, enter the name and email address of the person in the lower part of the Properties dialog box, and click Add.
4. Repeat each person until the group is defined.
