Three steps to using the MindManager brainstorming function
Create a new blank mind map and type the name of the problem you want to solve as a central theme. Then select the Ribbon Start tab, click the Brainstorming tool in the tool, and open the Brainstorming task pane, as shown.
Step one define Challenge
Pick a challenge and add it to your mind map as a theme.
1, click on the top of the pane to define the challenge;
2. Click on custom challenges to generate your own challenges, or predefined challenges to choose from the list of challenges. The challenges of choice are added to the mind map, using the tabs in the pop-up dialog box to toggle the customization and predefined challenges.
3. Record all potential challenges-no need to worry about reservations or optimization challenges.
4. The challenge card step below the pane helps build the idea.
Step two produces the idea
1. Select the challenges to be addressed to the guide map
2, click on the top of the pane to produce ideas options, and then click Enter an idea.
3. Use the Inspiration card below the pane to help generate ideas.
Step three classification and refinement
Add a topic to help you categorize the ideas that address challenges:
1. Select the challenge theme for the idea you want to categorize, then click Categorize & Refine.
2. Select one or more categorized branch names from the dropdown box, and then click Add Branch to guide map.
3, drag and drop each idea into the group

1. Select an idea topic on the Guide map
2. Select one or more categorized branch names from the dropdown box, and then click Add Branch to guide map.
Use brainstorming to challenge and conceive card group
The back of each card contains additional information and can be flipped by clicking the card.
If you want to view the card in a separate window, you can click
, close the window and the card will return to the pane. · The same card set is used for all open guides, and the default card group is used each time the MindManager is opened. You can use a set of cards in a group by marking the card as a collection. Click below the card
, mark the card as a collection. When the mark is complete, click
Or
, you can browse the collection of cards.
Right-click the card to customize the stack, including adding, editing, and deleting cards.
If you want to save the current stack of cards (including those marked as favorites), you can save the card as a MindManager card (. mmbd) file.
If you want to load a custom card file, right-click the card and choose Load Solitaire.
Use brainstorming function alone
You can also use brainstorming to create the theme you need, select the Start tab, and click the Brainstorming tool down arrow in the tool
, select the desired features from the menu to enter.
Note
1. The analysis view can be used as a supplementary function of brainstorming to classify the theme.
2. If the current Mind Map property is read-only, the brainstorming tool cannot be run and can contact the owner of the mind map or the system administrator to change the permissions on the map.
3, if you want to limit brainstorming session time, you can use the Timer tool, set the countdown before the start, the time will be prompted.
