"Edit" menu
Some commands in the "edit" menu are mainly used to edit files, such as copying, pasting, filling, and stroke. The "edit" menu is one of the most commonly used menus in photoshop software operations.
1. "restore" command
This command is used to restore the operation. Its shortcut key is CTRL + Z. At that time, it can only be restored once. If you want to restore the Operation steps as much as possible, press CTRL + ALT + Z.
2. Cut Command
When there is a selection box in the screen, this command can crop the part of the selected box in the screen. Below we will explain through an exercise.
1. Open this image and use the selection tool (M) to select a selection area.
2. Select edit> Cut (CTRL + X). In this way, the part in the selection box is cut out, as shown in the following figure.
Select Edit> paste (CTRL + V) to paste the cut part into the screen.
3. "copy" and "paste" commands
These two commands are basically used in combination. After creating a selection box on the screen, select edit> Copy (CTRL + C) command to copy it and then select edit> paste (CTRL + V) to paste the copied part to the screen. Unlike the previous "cut" command, the cut image does not exist in the selection box. After the "copy" and "paste" commands are used, the original image is complete. So pay attention to the differences between the two.
4. "fill" command
The "fill" command has basically the same functionality as the "Paint Bucket" tool in the toolbox, except that it brings together some major commands and options. As shown in the following figure:
You can select many options from the drop-down list. You can select these options to achieve different effects. However, the first two options are most commonly used. Try it for others...
In the "mode" drop-down list, we can select the fill mode, which is the same as the preceding hybrid mode. For example, "opacity" is used to change the transparency of the fill color.
