in the use of PPT to make pictures show slides, although the PPT software has provided a lot of pictures show the form and effect of choice, but sometimes can not meet our special requirements. For example, having a picture displayed dynamically on a number of rounded squares is a ready-made effect that is not available in PPT. However, we can use the ready-made animation effect in PPT to create the new picture display effect we need (Figure 1).
1. Make the Mask round corner square
Open PPT 2016 and create a new blank slide. Draw a rounded rectangle with rounded rectangles in the drawing, hold down the CTRL key to select the rounded rectangle, drag it horizontally, and copy the 3 rounded rectangles. Select the 4 rounded rectangles and use the alignment tool to achieve top alignment and horizontal distribution. Hold down the CTRL key to select the adjusted rounded rectangle, drag it down, copy the 2 rounded rectangles, arrange them neatly, and adjust the spacing between the groups. Select all rounded rectangles to combine and then select the rounded rectangles that are grouped, copy one, and drag and drop to the side (Figure 2). The spacing of the grid should be fine-tuned as needed. You can use the CTRL key with the arrow keys for fine-tuning.
2. Picture added to mask
Next, on the rounded rectangular lattice, draw a rectangle covering the slide page, setting the Fill color (page background color) and no line outline. Right-click the rectangle to the bottom, and the rounded rectangular lattice is rendered on top of the rectangle. Select the combined rounded rectangle on the rectangle and set its fill chart (that is, the picture you want to show). In this way, the diagram arranged by the grid CCTV is made (Figure 3).
3. Cleverly set the animation effect
Finally, right-click the combined rounded rectangle on the side, place it at the top, and drag it onto the grid-lined diagram to overwrite it. After adjusting, remove the combination of the top rounded rectangles, then the animation effect of the rounded rectangular lattice is set to "erase" in the exit effect, the direction is "from left", the 1th round rectangle's animation effect starts with "click", and the rest is after previous (Figure 4).
Small Tips
After you set the animation for the 2nd rounded rectangle, you can animate the other rounded rectangles by using the animation brush to copy the settings. Of course, you can also use the Animation pane to adjust the corresponding animation order.
