Cloud backup clients are primarily used for current server backup uploads and backup restores. The cloud Backup client provides a single server backup upload, the current server uploads backup files restore and backup file management, the current server and other servers to back up file sharing functions, and, at the same time, allows users to upload the cloud back to the web side of the local files uploaded to the current server, to achieve local and server file transfer.
1. Create a backup folder
The first time a user logs on to a cloud backup client on the server, the user is prompted to create a backup folder for the current server, and the backup folder will be used to hold all the backup files uploaded from that server, as shown in the figure:
Users can customize the backup folder name, which is generally recommended for subsequent administration by naming the server name, server IP, or server purpose, as shown in the figure:
2. How to make a file backup
Secure Dog Cloud Backup provides two kinds of file backup methods, automatic backup and manual backup. Backup through the automatic backup of the files, support a key restore, manually backed up files, in the restoration, users need to manually download to replace, temporarily does not support a key restore.
1, automatic Backup: Users can be in the cloud Backup client first click on the "Site backup" or "database" shortcut button to create a backup task, as shown in the picture:
Or in the Task management function interface, click the "New Backup Task" button to create a backup task, as shown in the figure:
2, Manual Backup: In the file management function of the "File Transfer Station" interface, click on "Upload File", as shown in the picture:
3. New Site Backup task
Backup name: When you create a new Web site backup task, the default requires the user to enter a backup name, the task is created successfully, and the system creates a folder named after the backup name for the task to hold all versions of the backup that the task uploads;
Web directory: The system automatically gets all the sites under IIS directory, users can manually fill out the site directory, or by clicking the "Browse" button to select the Site directory to be backed up;
Backup mode: The current Site backup task support Incremental backup mode, the first time the task to perform a full backup, after each backup using incremental backup mode;
Backup frequency: The user can choose the backup task to perform frequency, the maximum frequency limit is once a day;
Backup time: The user can set the execution time of each backup task, and the backup task will be automatically executed according to the time setting;
Backup Description: Users can fill out the backup instructions, easy to the task and upload the task of the backup file management;
4. New Database backup task
Backup name: When you create a new database backup task, the default requires the user to enter a backup name, the task is created successfully, and a folder named after the backup name is created for the task to hold all versions of the backup that the task uploads;
Database type: Secure dog Cloud Backup supports Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL two types of database backup;
Host address and Port: The user can fill in the database host address and database connection port;
Database account, Password: Users need to fill in the database required to use the account and password, the proposed completion of the account, password fill, click the "Test Account" for inspection;
Database name: The system automatically obtains all the database name, the user may fill out the database name by oneself, also may choose the database which needs to be backed up by clicking the "Pull down" button;
Backup mode: Current database backup task only supports full backup mode;
Backup frequency: The user can choose the backup task to perform frequency, the maximum frequency limit is once a day;
Backup time: The user can set the execution time of each backup task, and the backup task will be automatically executed according to the time setting;
Backup Description: Users can fill out the backup instructions to facilitate the task and the task to upload the backup file management.
5. How to do backup restore
Users in the current server directory, select the backup that needs to be restored, click the "Restore button" following the file entry, as shown in the figure:
Or in the file entry that needs to be restored, right-click the menu and select Restore to perform a backup restore, as shown in the figure:
