How to use the Click event of a button to trigger the Click event of a tag

Source: Internet
Author: User

In Jqquery, you can trigger the click event for input, a tag in the following ways:

<input id="My_input"/><a id="my_a"href="http://www.XXXX.html"></a>$("#my_input"). Click (function () {//Do something}); or $ ("#my_a"). Click (function () {//Do something});

However, using the Click event of the button input tag to trigger the Click event of the A tag, the following code does not work

$ ("#my_input"). Click (function () {            $ ("#my_a " ). Click ();});

So after the online search, change to the following:

$ ("#my_input"). Click (function () {                      $ ("#my_a") [0].click ();});

Due to the lack of proficiency in jqquery, unable to give an explanation, here is only a solution to the problem, hereby recorded.
