How to Use the JTAG mode in Quartus II to solidify the program into the PV

Step 1:

In Quartus II, click File-> convert programming files... Open programming file conversionProgram, 2.

In this interface. In programming file type: Label, select JTAG indirect configuration file (. JJC); in configuration device: Label, select the type of the source type, and I select epcs4. In the input file to convert box, click flash leader, and then click Add device .., 3. Select ep2c8 based on your FPGA model. Click sof data and then add file .., select the sof file compiled by Quartus II. The configuration completion page is shown in Figure 4.

Click Generate to generate the JJC file. Success page 5.

Close the convert programming Files interface and go to the next step.

Step 2:

In Quartus II, Click Tools> programmer to go To the download page, as shown in figure 6.

On this page, click hardware setup and select download cable. Double-click USB-blaster, as shown in figure 7.

Return to the download page, click led_water.sof, click Change file..., and select output_file.jjc. After adding the file, select the option as shown in Figure 8 and select the JJC file.

Click Start to start the download. After the download is complete, click the reset key or restart the Development Board to view the solidified program.

Tip: the number of times that the export operation of the source object was limited (Please query it by yourself). Please use the JTAG mode to download the sof file test program as much as possible.
