The Manual on the bf531 Development Board is a bit hard to understand:
I am confused when I use the Super Terminal FTP on Windows PC and Linux PC FTP later.
The manual says:
(1) You must first transmit the program FTP to the Linux server.
Which server is it uploaded? How can I get the username and password? Please tell me one.
(2) After FTP is downloaded from the server, do you need to log on?
How can I get my own IP address?
I just got in touch with Linux and I cannot understand it in the manual. I hope you can help me to reply. Thank you!

Windows PC is used to run a Super Terminal.
In fact, if you have a Linux PC, you don't need a Windows PC.
In a Linux PC, minicom is used as a serial port terminal to operate the board.
Linux PC is mainly used as a TFTP server (note that FTP is never used, TFTP! = FTP)
This requires the Linux PC to be configured to start the TFTP server.
Finally, the bf531 board needs to download the Linux kernel from the Linux PC through TFTP and run it in the SDRAM of the Board.

Thank you for your answers!
It turns out that my PC must be a Linux operating system to download the program to the board. If so, I have to repartition the computer and install the dual system !!!

Well, if you want to use embedded Linux
Therefore, it is best to use the Linux environment for PC.
You can consider using Linux in VMware.
