Summary:
1. Three bottom-layer magic commands of HP:
# Lanscan check whether the underlying physical status of the host is UP (note that the IP layer cannot be viewed by this command)
# Netstat-rn check whether IP Address binding is correct
# Nslookup hny01 check whether you can parse yourself
2. Other commands
(1) lanadmin-LAN Management Program
Summary
/Usr/sbin/lanadmin [-e] [-t]
/Usr/sbin/lanadmin [-a] [-Astation_addr] [-c] [-g [get_options] [-m]
[-M mtu_size] [-p] [-r] [-R] [-s] [-S speed] [-Vvlan_options [parms] [-x options]
[-Xoptions] PPA
Note:
The lanadmin, lanscan, and linkloop commands are not recommended. We recommend that you use nwmgr
-G [get_options]
Obtain and display the settings corresponding to some options. These options are specified by get_options of the interface corresponding to PPA. Get_options is optional and case-insensitive. Values that are allowed are mibstats and mib-stats_ext.
Mibstats displays MIB-II statistics (RFC 1213) and interface-specific statistics.
Mibstats_ext displays extended 64-bit MIB statistics (RFC 2863) and interface-specific statistics.
Suppose the corresponding network port is lan0. The following command checks:
# Lanadmin-g 0 | grep Status
Administration Status (value) = up (1)
Operation Status (value) = down (1) => if it is displayed as down, the network cable is unplugged.
# Lanadmin-g 900 | grep Status has the opportunity to test
(2) linkloop
Use the linkloop command to test connectivity. As follows:
# Lanscan
# Linkloop-I 2 0x00237D3E33EC
(This is the connectivity test between lan2 and lan3. Where 2 is the instance Number. 0x00237D3E33EC of lan2, which is the mac address of lan3. It can be seen through lanscan)
(3) nwmgr-network interface management commands for LAN and RDMA Interfaces
Summary
/Usr/sbin/nwmgr [-h | -- help | -? ] [Operation] [target] [operation-qualifiers]
[Target-qualifiers]
Description
The nwmgr program is a unified command for managing all HP-UX LAN interfaces and RDMA interfaces.
This online help page describes the command functions supported by nwmgr. However, each network interface driver (usually called a subsystem) may support a subset of these features. For more information about the features supported by a specific subsystem, see the Independent Online Help page for each subsystem, named nwmgr _ <subsys-tem> (1 M ).
You can use the nwmgr command on the LAN interface or RDMA interface to perform the following operations:
• Display interface information
• Modify interface settings
• Reset the interface or its statistics
• Diagnose connection connectivity
• Create and set configuration information for components at the same time
• Delete or clear components
Example
List all LAN interfaces and RDMA interfaces in the system:
Nwmgr -- get
# Nwmgr-S apa-I 900-A all
