I recently learned from a technology salon that a game engine (construct2) has completely changed the impression of Game Development in my mind. I have read some books on game development in the past, basically from the canvas, from the coordinate system, coupled with complex drawing programming, so that I do not dare to have hope for game development, not to mention those big productions. However, based on this engine, I was able to create a seemingly good web game within two hours based on the official tutorial, without a line of code. This was the first time I came into contact with ruby.
On rails. Today, I recorded the amazing journey of the past two hours. I hope other friends will feel this way too.
Step 1 select the Game EngineThere are many game engines. Basically, each successful game is backed by a powerful engine. The following are some of the amazing game engines:
- Large game engine: http://diy.pconline.com.cn/graphics/study_gra/1202/2672414_all.html
- HTML5 game engine: html5gameengines.com/game-engine-overview/
Today's practice is based on construct2, which is basically the easiest and most silly engine:

I downloaded r79.4. The latest r80 has a problem and will crash. My system is win7 64. I wonder if other friends have this problem.
Constructs charges fees, but the price is still generous, and its free version is enough for learning.
