HTML5 The official standard is it really going to be 2022 years before it's officially released?

As a web design (front-end design and front-end developers) the arrival of HTML5 standards is also exciting. Unfortunately, there is a need to wait for a long time before it can be really popularized.

Ian Hickson recently prepared a timetable for the launch of HTML5. If from now on each browser developer will fully support HTML5, then in 2012 HTML5 wide application. But HTML5 's official standard will not be released until 2022. It's 10 years from now.

Even after 2022 years, when the Firefox V22.3 version of the browser (2008 Firefox launched the V3) has really supported the HTML5, but at this time the HTML will also be the dominant language of the Internet? Given that no one can answer this question, Would it make more sense to suggest a standard in the near future?

No matter how you answer this question, one thing is quite clear-there are some big gaps between the HTML5 and the developers who are currently building a variety of websites that are in hot water.

Web Developer Jeffcroft wrote a very "hot" (and very funny) article to criticize Hickson's timetable: "I only care (hateful) Now, my clients only care (hateful) Now, my users only care (hateful) now." Those who really give this hateful 2022-year planner are just people who live for their livelihoods. (meaning: These people don't care and care about the confusion and flaws of today's HTML standards.) )”

Of course, there is a great possibility that at least a considerable number of browsers will fully support HTML5 execution in the years leading up to 2022. (Currently, Opera, safari and Firefox have provided support for some elements of HTML5.) )

We may be able to postpone the final release time for HTML5 to find many reasons.

Part of the reason is that HTML5 is trying to do things that HTML4 never realized--not just the HTML5 standard for the new tags provided by the HTML author, but it shows how a browser should parse a page, handle some errors, and so on.

This makes it possible for the browser spec-makers to spend exactly 13 years to make each line of HTML5 standards conform to the issues mentioned above. However, it is very likely that Web developers will be able to use the various new tags in HTML5 long before HTML5 launches their final recommendation criteria.

I agree with Croft that it would be ridiculous to use a timetable to develop a "history" of fast-changing internet development. But that does not mean that we will not be able to use the relevant content in HTML5 until 2022. In fact, the more important year is 2012, when the HTML5 draft will be finalized, although it is unofficial at this time.

While Croft may say he doesn't care about HTML5 standards, he also advises developers to read Surfin ' Safari and Mozilla Developer News more now to get more information about the new HTML5 tools that these browsers already support.

Finally, I also give HTML5 a very pertinent suggestion-we need to recognize that the standard itself is not the most important, it is important that the browser can really support. And now that many browsers have started to add some of the features of HTML5, we are expected to meet a new Internet presence by 2022.
