Today I bought a TP-LINK wireless router for my house and wanted to build a wireless LAN at home. But there is already a wired router integrated with modem and route in the house, so you have to connect it with it for hybrid use. At the beginning, I forgot how to configure it. First, I tried it myself, but I couldn't figure it out. I had to check it online, but I don't know whether it was my bad luck or bad luck. I just failed to see the configuration in my hand (I found that I was confused when I got the configuration, no network cable inserted to the wired router ~~)! After some hard work, I finally finished the hard work. Now I am writing in bed... The old man has a bad memory. record it and reserve it. First, the network topology of the table:
In fact, the current vrouters have all been completely dumbfounded, And the configuration is very simple. Today, I will do it in two steps. If you have not completed the Internet access through the ADSL modem + wired router, follow the steps below (the following router configuration is best to connect to the configuration with a single computer ):
- Enter 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in the browser, and enter the account and password. Generally, both admin and Admin are used to go to the wired router Management page.
- Select the Internet access method as pppoe (ADSL virtual dialing), set Automatic router dialing, and fill in the account and password provided by China Telecom.
After completing these two steps, most of the wired routers can connect the modem and the wired router, and connect your computer to the LAN port of the wired router to automatically allocate IP addresses to access the Internet. After the test is successful, it is easy to configure the hybrid configuration with the wireless router in two steps.
- Enter 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in the browser, and enter the account name and password. Generally, both admin and Admin are used to go to the wireless router Management page.
- Set network parameters. First, set the IP address of the LAN port, as long as it is different from the address of your wired router. My wired router was originally 192.168.1.1, and I set the LAN port address of the wireless router to 192.168.0.1. Set the WAN port to a dynamic IP address.
After the configuration, pull a network cable to connect the LAN port of the wired router to the WAN port of the unlimited router. At this point, the infinite network in my house is set up ~ I was so scared by such a simple thing.
