I have to work well (new products, old products, documents, outsourcing)

Recently, my work has been messy, including product maintenance, new product R & D, outsourcing projects, and documentation.

Product maintenance:

The company's original products have been developed for a long time and are the main product of the company. However, as the number of users increases, the product maintenance method is far from meeting the needs of specific work, therefore, an automated approach is required to shorten the maintenance cycle of the entire product. Therefore, product-based maintenance projects must be solved as soon as possible.

My current ideas mainly solve the following problems:

1: Automatic Product Release: one-click release of products of various versions is now completed mainly through scripts and the use of command lines to link various work together.

2: Product Version 1 to: the versions of different files in the product are not unique. Now, the versions of all files need to be automatically unified.

3. Company Product Website: automatically associates information changes on product websites with changes to internal products.

4: Product Knowledge Base: link all the information in the work to form a knowledge system built around the project.

5: internal team site: mainly to strengthen internal communication and cooperation, must be mounted to the Internet, so that on-site debugging, maintenance or business trip are not afraid.

In the original project development process, a lot of information is lost, and now it is really a pity that the information in each person's email, document, and instant post is scattered on different machines, it is too hard to communicate information, wasting a lot of information. I tried SharePoint before, but the entire team seems to only like reading it, but not writing it. It seems that it is only a message publishing tool. The server crashes a few days ago and a lot of information is lost, it's just a bit of backup, and it's depressing. Product development and maintenance include working methods.ProgramIt seems that only strict requirements can be met, but now it seems interesting to think of the past. I remember asking team members to write daily reports, but it seems that writing daily reports has become their biggest headache, finally, it is gone.

Today, we have had some exchanges to understand some very specific problems. In fact, programmers are under great pressure. I usually think it is a very simple task and they think it is very difficult, some have not even heard of it, but the documents I provide are usually very simple and there is no solution. This may be related to my work habits and methods. I like to solve the problem myself, but most programmers like to give a solution and then implement it. In addition, the various documents of the project are not prepared in detail, which seems very difficult to implement. This is why programmers implement things differently from my ideas.

Today, we understand that different people have different ideas and there are actually different solutions to accomplish one thing together. For me, what I need to do now is to think clearly about how everything is done, research, write clearly, explain clearly, supervise clearly, and assess clearly, in this way, the team can cooperate better, and our members may all work in this way, so that everyone can be relaxed, but such a spirit of innovation may be okay, however, this can only be done for the development of the team.

New product R & D:

At present, the company has a project in a country, which is a relatively unfamiliar field of our team. I tried to solve it but encountered many difficulties, but it seems that I am not very scared, because in terms of technology, these are all minor issues. However, the progress of the entire project was unexpectedly slow. The team members seemed to think that this was an unfinished task and it was also difficult to tackle the technical issues. Now I think that I have made many mistakes. I put too much pressure on my team members, and everyone seems to be unable to see the dawn of project completion. Maybe I set the project as a small mileage cup, this may be even better. In addition, the spread of project scope makes the functions too complex. In addition, when the team members are not very familiar with new technologies and fields, they must take a step by step to instruct the team members to systematically learn, at the same time, we can improve the overall skills of the team through practice. In addition, we can strengthen communication and communication so that the team members can better improve their skills.

Outsourcing project:

At present, we are responsible for implementing a website mainly for planning and outsourcing to another company. During the outsourcing process, we mainly feel that communication and sharing must be fast and accurate, however, remote communication seems to be unsatisfactory, and there is still a lot of resistance in Web-based information construction. First, it is difficult to complete the materials and resources required by the site columns, A lot of non-electronic materials are a headache. However, if you think about outsourcing, supervision, coordination, and acceptance run through the entire process. In fact, it is not much easier than yourself. To ensure high quality, you must work harder.

Documentation:

The biggest headache is writing documents, but the feasibility study for each new project is the first step in whether the project can be carried out. There is no way to continue.

Now I think it's interesting to look at my work. Why is it so much and so messy? I think I spent most of the time doing this. I lie down at 10 o'clock yesterday, however, I woke up at over three o'clock. In fact, I seldom suffered from insomnia, but I felt that there was a lot of pressure and there were too many things. I thought I could only do these things and I couldn't do the boss at all. Later I thought about it, but there was nothing. As long as I had to make a good plan, make reasonable arrangements, and work together, everything would naturally be solved.
