The task of IDA is to load the selected executable file into memory
and analyze the related parts
IDA will then build a database
Its components are stored in 4 files, respectively
When you close the current project
These 4 files will be archived
You can choose to compress them into an IDB file
Usually when people refer to the IDA database, they actually refer to the IDB file
If the database shuts down properly, you will never see the file with the extension id0,id1. nam or til in the working directory
If files with these extensions exist in the working directory, they often indicate that the database was shut down unexpectedly.
The color horizontal band is an overview navigation bar for Ida, also called a navigation band, which is a linear view of the loaded file address space.
By default, it renders the entire address range of the binary file
