Everyone knows that smart cabling in Europe and America is more than 20 years earlier than that in China. Therefore, their cabling systems are relatively standard because they have always followed an industry standard TIA/EIA 606, I don't want to talk about the content of this standard here. I just want to say that only when the industry standard is in place can we make it traceable. It is worth noting that, china also launched the data center cabling system design and construction technical white paper this year, all of which are indicative of the maturity of China's network cabling.

Let's take a look at the application of the identification system in cabling. In fact, some network administrators tried 3 for some time, and used non-dry adhesive paper and handwriting to calibrate the network line end, however, after a long period of time, it is easy to find that it is easy to fall off, and the handwritten content will also vary from person to person. There is no fixed expression, which is hard to understand.

Therefore, after the TIA/EIA 606 specifications and the data center cabling system design and construction technical White Paper, the requirements for unified application identification become clearer and the network construction process becomes clearer. The entire network construction is divided into four stages: Design, Construction, acceptance testing, and daily maintenance and management. This greatly improves the management efficiency of the wiring system and provides all-round support for users' post-maintenance, with such a specification, the previous problems can be solved. According to the standard, the label materials are mainly divided into two categories, one is for online applications, mainly Vinyl Or Buji, and the material model of Beidi is B427/B580/B499; another type of flat labels is the material model B423/B580 attached to the Panel, assets, and other flat surfaces. B580 is required for outdoor environments.

According to the standard, the printing is mainly required to comply with the UL969 standard, and is a hot transfer printing method. At the same time, there are two main printing solutions for Beidi, one is mass printing, the printer model is IP300, And the handheld printer is mainly applicable to the network architecture of qiandian and below. The printer models are TLS2200 and BMP 21, as shown in figure 4.

According to the standards, we mainly consider the following kinds of calibration for the entire network: each cable, optical cable, wiring equipment, end point, grounding device, and laying pipeline in the data center.

For example, the rack of the AJ05 floor network on the third floor of the data center is marked as 3AJ05 (5)

Identifier format: nnXXYY, nn = floor number, XX = Floor grid column number, YY = Floor grid row number

To connect a cable, you need to tag its remote and near-end addresses on both ends. Management identifier of cables and jumpers: p1n/p2n; p1n = near-end rack or cabinet, distribution rack sequence and specified port; p2n = remote rack or cabinet, distribution rack sequence and specified port.

For example, the cable displayed in the first position connected to the distribution frame can contain the following labels: AJ05-A01/AQ03-B01. The same cables in the cabinet AQ03 will contain the following labels: AQ03-B01/AJ05-A01.

(3) distribution frame identification

The identification of the distribution frame. The numbering method of the distribution frame should include the number of the rack and Cabinet and the position of the distribution frame in the rack and Cabinet.

The identification of the distribution rack port. For example, the fourth port of the Second Distribution rack 2 in 3AJ05 can be named 3AJ05-B04.
