First of all, do not take the product or system warranty provided by the manufacturer for several years as a guarantee that the product will not lag behind for years. With the rapid changes in human science and technology and the rapid development of communication technology, no one can predict what will happen in a few years, ten years, or even decades, that is to say, the manufacturer's quality assurance for several years, it is not guaranteed that the system will not expire in a period of time. However, you can rest assured that a major feature of the Integrated Wiring System is its ease of resizing and upgrading.

Domestic users believe in the commitment of foreign companies and believe that after-sales service and assurance can be obtained through years of warranty. When the Integrated Wiring System first entered our country, it gave Chinese people a mysterious feeling that once the integrated wiring system was built in the building, it immediately became a smart building, each weak current system can use this wiring system. Actually not. Theoretically, the Integrated Wiring System unifies the transmission medium of various weak current systems in the building as a high-performance transmission medium, which facilitates management, maintenance and future expansion; but in fact, it is impossible for us to do so in China. For example, in the security monitoring system, the 75 ohm coaxial cable is currently used at a low price, and its bandwidth is also high when the transmission distance is far (more than 100 meters; the 8-core twisted pair wires used in Integrated Wiring do not have this advantage. First, it is limited by the maximum transmission distance of 100 meters, and the attenuation of the video signal transmitted over 100 meters will be very large. In addition, you also need to buy an impedance pair, this allows the interfaces of monitoring equipment to be compatible with twisted pair wires. In addition, weak current systems such as building automation have their own cabling systems. Generally, the topology of the cabling is bus-type, that is, many control units can be connected in a 2-core line. The Integrated Wiring System adopts a star topology, requiring each 8-core line to be connected to only one device. It can be seen that if the building automation and other weak current systems also adopt a star topology structure, a large number of cables will be required to increase the cost of the entire system.

◆ Restrictions on Industry Management in China
For example, the fire security system is still independently designed, constructed, and managed. It is not suitable for such a system to adopt integrated wiring.

◆ Cannot give full play to the advantages of Integrated Wiring
The Integrated Wiring System provides great flexibility for users who often change the types and locations of terminal devices; the weak current terminal devices, such as building automation and security monitoring, are usually fixed in a certain location in a room or corridor for a long time and do not need to be changed frequently.

It can be seen that the Integrated Wiring System is not omnipotent, and it mainly provides the foundation for the high-performance Communication Automation System in the smart building.

3. Reasonable Choice

In the current wiring market, the media and various businesses are hyping the most "Gigabit. I remember that I was still hyping "over five categories" last year, and this year, with the introduction of the Gigabit Ethernet standard, cabling vendors have also successively launched "6 categories" or "7 categories" cabling systems that support Gigabit Ethernet. It is certainly a good thing to launch advanced products, but I would like to remind Chinese users not to be overwhelmed by the hype of the manufacturers. when choosing a wiring product, consider it calmly, whether such a high-end Integrated Wiring System is required.

In fact, category 5 and Category 5 systems can already meet the transmission requirements of Gigabit Ethernet, and can only be used as the backbone network, whether it is 622 M, 1g ATM or Gigabit Ethernet; for a level system that truly reaches the terminal, I am afraid few users in China can use a truly exclusive 10 Mbps rate. Most Lan still uses a 10 Mbps rate sharing network. So when the user is naive to transmit data at a speed of Mbps in the system of the horizontal terminal, I am afraid that the six types of systems have long expired. Even if some users need to transmit data at a transmission rate of Mbps to the terminal system, they are only used to transmit some multimedia information (voice, data, and images ), this is actually a bit of a feeling of "shooting mosquitoes with high-definition guns. Currently, multimedia information transmission applications (such as VOD and video conferencing) can be implemented at 25 Mbps ATM and 10 Mbps Ethernet, it is hard to imagine what the user will transmit at a rate of Mbps.

In addition, standards for Category 6 and Category 7 have not yet been officially released, and the installation Specifications and methods for Category 6 systems have not yet taken shape, more importantly, there are no test specifications and methods for the six or seven types of systems. Currently, the commonly used testing equipment is still based on the MHz standard. Therefore, even if you use six types of products in the project, you cannot know whether the Integrated Wiring system meets the requirements of the six types of systems. What kind of product is regarded as a 6-class product? I'm afraid I don't know who to ask.

In addition, I would like to share some personal opinions. I believe that with the rapid development of communication technology, copper cables will eventually be eliminated. The main reasons for their elimination are bandwidth, transmission distance, and electromagnetic divergence and interference, instead, it will be a certain transmission medium of optical fiber or even the future. According to data, all optical fiber networks have emerged in the United States, and 10 Gbps Ethernet has also been born in the laboratory. For manufacturers and users, all-optical LAN will be more attractive.
