IE usually has temporary files in the temporary folder in C disk. So what do you do when C is full? If we have more space left on another hard disk partition, we can set the temporary folder of IE to this drive. Now look at the specific approach.
First copy the old folder to a new location. Go to the "C:/windows/temporary Internet Files" directory and move this folder to D disk. Then, run IE browser and choose Internet Options on the Tools menu. When the dialog box opens, click the "Set" button in the "Temporary Internet Files" column on the General tab. In the Settings dialog box, click the Move Folder button. In the pop-up Browse folder, select the new folder in the D disk and click OK. Then, click OK in the Settings dialog box and there is a dialog box that lets us restart Windows and click Yes.
The computer will then reboot. Run IE browser. You will find that all of the temporary files are stored in the newly set drive.
