IEEE CSO 2009 Revised paper requirements (English note)

0. Special Note: Please use the IEEE two-column template (Word, Latex) to format your paper. The following summarizes some details about paper format in terms of review comments.

1. Title: The title should be concise and accurate, which reflect the contents of the paper. Please use 14-point times, boldface type. Capitalize the first letter of nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs; Do not capitalize articles, coordinate conjunctions, or prepositions (unless the title begins with such a word). Leave 12-point Blank lines after the title.

2. Author Names and affiliations: Author Names and affiliations is to be centered beneath the title and printed In times 12-point, Non-boldface type. Multiple authors May is shown in a two-or three-column format, with their affiliations centered below their respective NA Mes. Include e-mail addresses if possible. Author information should is followed by and 12-point blank lines.

3. Abstract: A good academic paper should have a good abstract. A Good abstract consists of purpose, method, results and conclusions. Please see the following example.

Abstract: [purpose] in order to solve the Multi-Attribute decision Analysis (MADA) problem with multiple conflic Ting decision attributes and multiple condition attributes, a variable precision rough set (VPRS) model is used in this PA Per.[method] by Introducing confidence Measure andβ-reduct, the VPRS model can rationally solve the conflicting deci Sion analysis problem with multiple decision attributes and multiple condition attributes. For illustration, a medical diagnosis example are utilized to show the feasibility of the VPRS model in solving MADA proble M with multiple decision attributes and multiple condition attributes. [results] empirical Results show that the Decision rule with highest confidence measure would be used as the final decision rules in the MADA problem with multiple Conflicting decision attributes and multiple condition attributes if there are some conflicts among decision rules Resulti Ng from multiple decision attributes. [conclusions]  The confidence-measure-based VPRS model can effectively solve the conflicts of decision rules from multiple decision Attri Butes and thus a class of MADA problem with multiple conflicting decision attributes and multiple condition attributes is Solved.

4. Main text: Type your Main text in 10-point times, single-spaced. Do not use double-spacing. All paragraphs should is indented inch (approximately 0.5 cm). Be sure your text is fully justified-that are, flush left and flush right. Additional blank lines between paragraphs.

5. First-order headings: For example, "1." Introduction ", should is times 12-point boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, with one blank line before, and one B Lank line after. Use a period (".") after the heading number, not a colon.

6. Second-order headings: as in the heading, they should be times 11-point boldface, initially capitalized, flus H left, with one blank line before, and one after.

7. third-order headings. Third-order headings, as in this paragraph, is discouraged. However, if you must use them, use 10-point times, boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, preceded by one blank line , followed by a period and your text in the same line.

8. Figure and Table captions should is 10-point boldface Helvetica (or a similar sans-serif font). Initially capitalize only the first word of each figure caption and table title. Figures and tables must be numbered separately. For example: ' Figure 1. Database contexts "," Table 1. Input data ". Figure captions is to be centered below the figures. Table titles is to be centered above the tables. For table format, please use the three-line format, as illustrated as follows:

9. Footnotes: use footnotes sparingly (or not at all) and place them at the bottom of the column on the page on W Hich they is referenced. Use times 8-point type, single-spaced. To help your readers, avoid using footnotes altogether and include necessary peripheral observations in the text (within P Arentheses, if you prefer, as on this sentence).

acknowledgements: Some Acknowledgement information should is placed after conclusions.

References: List and number all bibliographical References in 9-point times, single-spaced, at the end of your R paper. When referenced in the text, enclose the citation number in square brackets, for example [1]. Where appropriate, include the name (s) of editors of referenced books.

Language: the Language of IEEE CS proceedings must be 中文版, 中文版 should be improved by a native speaker . From our practices, there are high correlation between poor 中文版 and paper being rejected.
