"To learn is information, not language."
We need to know every aspect of this country to learn the language of a country. To learn English, we must understand the social, economic, cultural, historical and other information of Anglo-American countries.
Everyone please look at this formula: "E≠C; C≠e ", translated into Chinese is: English is not equal to the translation of Chinese, Chinese is not equivalent to the translation of English. To learn English, we must learn the culture of the English-speaking countries.
Could you please list the major ports in China? The problem should be very simple. But would you please list the five major ports in the UK? Do you know the capital of Scotland? It may not be that easy to answer these two questions. To learn English well, please remember: l=i=k, Language =information=knowledge.
Language is information, and language is knowledge. To learn English well, please forget the English language itself and devote your energies to the information contained in the language. Learn as much as you can about the humanities and the current social situation in the UK.
"Learning English should have a definite goal" when we learn English, we may ask ourselves these questions: why should I learn English? What do I have to learn? When do I learn English? Where do I learn English? Who do I want to study English with? After answering these questions and learning English, you will find that the progress is faster and the effect will be better.
We should be learners who have ideas. What are we learning English for? To go abroad for further study? For immigration? To travel abroad? Learn with your purpose. This will be more productive. But it's not good to learn if you just want to take the exam. Learning English for exams is a bad way to learn. Choose your goals and start learning. Do not worry, remember to learn English must have a clear goal. "If you spend 17 minutes a day, you can learn English well."
May I ask you, where is the best place to learn English? I'm here to tell you: yes--the bathroom. The bath room is actually the best place to learn English. Everyone will laugh.
To know that the classroom is not the best place to learn English, in class, what we can learn is how to learn. And the bathroom is a good place to study, there must be in the shower to sing it? Indeed, singing in the shower is a pleasant thing to do. Next time, you might as well recite a piece of English when you take a shower. How long will it take to recite? Not long, just two minutes is enough. Read aloud, and keep reading aloud for two minutes a day is enough.
Just stick with it for a few months, maybe three months, maybe two months, and everyone will find that their English has soared. Believe me, trust me, this method is very effective, if you do not believe it, may wish to try. 2 minutes in the bathroom, what about the other 15 minutes? In the 15 minutes before bedtime, you can listen to the BBC's program, which is what we British are familiar with Radio4.
Remember: It's 15 minutes before bedtime. Why do you need 15 minutes before bedtime? This is because when we go to sleep, our brains are not resting, and it's still working. So our memory has been strengthened. 2 minutes in the bathroom, plus 15 minutes before bedtime, as long as 17 minutes, every day as long as 17 minutes, you can learn English. Please remember this 17-minute learning method.
To ask the secret? It's really simple: we're learning happily. When people are happy, learning is the most efficient, and work is the most efficient. In the morning, I myself rushed a cup of coffee, opened the computer, began to write, I like the feeling--the quiet of the morning, the aroma of coffee, it feels so good.
With such a good feeling, writing can be said to be a kind of enjoyment, work is a kind of enjoyment. When you are learning English, you may as well create such a happy environment for yourself. If you are tired of reading, you can watch movies and listen to music. If you like chocolate, you can chew it in your mouth. If you like to drink beer, you can also have a drink while studying. Learn English with a happy mood to learn, and fully enjoy the fun of learning.
"Internet is a good place to learn English" the Internet is full of information, which is a good material to learn English, and now some chat tools, such as ICQ is a good tool to learn English using the Internet. Using the Internet is a tool that will help you improve your English level even faster. "To learn to be a lazy learner."
What impresses me most about Chinese students, especially in China, is that Chinese students are more diligent than British students. Chinese students usually study late and often stay up late.
But, you know, the night is the time to sleep, not the time to study. Learning English is a physical labor, our body after a period of physical labor, will be tired, this time, it is necessary to rest. Whether it is learning English, or learning other subjects, is the case. Tired will have to rest, this is also effective learning methods.
Don't force yourself. After the rest, and then study, you will find that the efficiency of learning will be higher. Also, books have to be read selectively, and many books do not need to be read on every page and line. In the UK, the teacher will recommend a lot of books to you, the reading list has a long string.
When I was teaching students, I was teaching them how to be lazy--how to study selectively, and there was no need to read all the books thoroughly.
