I will give you a detailed analysis of the Illustrator software to share with you the tutorials on the design of cartoon children's toys water gun.
Tutorial sharing:
1. Create a new document
Press ctrl + N to create a new document. Select the unit of pixels, enter 600 in the width and height boxes, and click the Advanced button. Select RGB, the screen (72 ppi), and make sure that this check box is selected in the aligned object pixel grid, and then click OK. Enable grid (View> display grid) and align grid (View> align to grid ).
For beginners, you need to set the grid line interval to 5 pixels, so go to edit> Preference> reference line and grid, set the grid line interval to 5 and the sub-separator line to 1. It will ease your work, and you can easily enable or disable the grid by pressing ctrl + "keyboard shortcut. You should also open the information panel (window> information) to preview the size and shape position. Do not forget the setting of the measurement unit. Go to edit> Preference> unit> standard as pixel. All these settings will significantly improve your productivity.

2. Create a subject, handle, and trigger
Step 2
Select the rectangle tool (M), create a rectangle of 130X25 pixels, and set its fill color to R = 255, G = 200, B = 0. Select the yellow shape, go to effect> style> rounded corner. Enter 5 pixels in radius, click OK, and then go to object> extend appearance.

Step 2
Select the rectangle tool (M), create a 35*75 pixel rectangle, and set the fill color to orange. Switch to the direct selection tool (A) and select the two anchor points at the bottom of the rectangle to drag them 25 pixels to the right.
Select a rectangle, and choose effect> style> rounded corner. Enter 5 pixels in radius, click OK, and go to object> extend appearance.

Step 2
Re-select the yellow rounded rectangle, copy a layer (Ctrl + C> Ctrl + F) at the current position, and then place the copy layer to the top layer (Shift + Ctrl +]). Select the orange shape and the copied copy, open the path finder panel (window> Path Finder), and click the minus top layer button.

Step 2
Use the rectangle tool (M) to create a 40PX rectangle and place it on the top. Retain the selected status to bring up the appearance panel (window> appearance ). Deselect the fill color, set the stroke color to R = 189, G = 15, B = 4, and click "stroke" to open the stroke panel. Set the width to 8 pixels, and set the align stroke "align the inside of the stroke" button.
Switch to the direct selection tool (A), select the two anchors at the bottom of the red shape, and drag them 15px to the right. Make sure that the red shape remains the selected state, go to effect> style> rounded corner, set the radius to 5 pixels, click OK, and then go to object> path> contour stroke.

At the end of the tutorial, the above is how Illustrator draws a cartoon child toy water gun. Have you learned it? Thank you for reading this tutorial!
Select the yellow shape, open the gradient panel (window> gradient), click the gradient thumbnail, and add the default linear gradient from black to white.
In your gradient panel, set the angle to 90 degrees. Move to the gradient color, select the slider on the right, set the color to R = 255, G = 230, B = 30, and then select the slider on the left to set the color to R = 245, G = 160, B = 0. Add a new slider and set its color to R = 245, G = 160, and B = 0. The position is set to 15%. Remember, the blue number represents the slider position. Add five new slide in sequence, and set the color and position as shown in the following figure.

Step 2
Select the orange shape and change its fill color to the gradient fill shown in the following figure.

Step 2
Select the handle shape. On the appearance panel, use the add new color button. Add a linear gradient as shown in the following figure. Remember, the blue number indicates the percentage of the position, and the yellow indicates the percentage of opacity.

Step 2
Select the handle shape, on the appearance panel, and use the add new color button. Click opacity to open the opacity panel. Reduce the opacity to 5%, change the blending mode to soft light, and then add the linear gradient shown in the following figure.

Step 2
Select a red shape and set its fill color to the radial gradient shown in the following figure. (Note: In this step, add a shadow to the handle, for example, the projection operation in step 1)

Step 2
Use the rectangle tool (M) to create a 35 * 40PX rectangle. Select the shape, go to the effect> style> rounded corner, enter a 3px radius, click OK, and then go to the object> extend appearance. Change the fill color to the linear gradient shown in the following figure.

Step 2
Use the rectangle tool (M) to create a 35 * 10px rectangle, set the fill color to white (R = 255, G = 255, B = 255), and reduce its opacity to 20%, change the hybrid mode to overlay.

Step 2
Go to edit> Preferences> reference line and grid> the grid line interval is set to 1px. Use the pen tool (P) to create a 10px vertical path, select the path, unfill, set the stroke to 5 pixels in dark red, and click "stroke" to bring up the panel, set the endpoint to the endpoint of the circular header.
