Skateboard Material:

Knowledge Development: The illustrator built-in symbol sprayer (icon ejector) is a useful tool for quickly creating beautiful patterns. Let's take a look at how to create some vector skull shapes and then combine them into a complex design graphic as a skateboard body design.

The specific production steps are as follows:
We're going to use our design as a skateboard pattern, but that doesn't mean you can do it, you could apply it to any design project.

Open Adobe Illustrator draw a circle on the artboard, hold down the SHIFT key, and keep the positive circle ratio.

Then draw a rounded rectangle on the artboard, change the radian of the fillet by holding down the UP ARROW key, place the rounded rectangle over the circle, and use the vertical alignment of the alignment panel to align them vertically.

Using the Pathfinder Palette Panel, apply the Add to shape area (shape addition function) to combine two shapes.

Adjusts the stroke width of the new shape and adds a black outline to it.

Draw a black filled circle, then copy one to the next, place two Kancheng groups and then place them in the outline of the skull, centered vertically.

Select the Star tool, and then draw a shape on the artboard before releasing the mouse, press the DOWN ARROW key to change the star point to 3, so that we can create a triangle.
Then select Effect > Stylize > Round Corners (Fillet function) and enter a value of about 10mm to round the triangle.

Narrow the triangle and take it as the skull's nose.

Use rounded rectangles to create a long, thin shape, press (cmd/ctrl+c) to copy, press (CMD/CTRL+F) to paste in place, and then hold down the SHIFT key to move it to the other side of the skull's mouth with the mouse.

Select the two shapes, click Object > Blend > Make (Create transition effects), enter 3 on the specified steps (transition steps option), and press OK. Then click Object > Expand (expand), click Object (the object itself) in the Pop-up Options window to check the box to convert the transition effect to the actual shape.

Duplicate (copy) The outline shape of the skull and place it at the top of all objects, fill it with any color, cancel the group state of the previous 5 slender rectangles, and select Object > Compound path > Make (compound path), Then select both the top skull shape and all the rectangles, using the third option button of the Pathfinder panel, so that only the skeletons and rectangles overlap.

Repeat the previous steps to create 3 different skull patterns, each slightly different in proportion, so that we can add a little change to the final graph.

Select each skeleton figure individually, then click the New Icon button in the Symbols Palette (icon panel).

Select the icon Ejector tool, select the first skeleton pattern from the icon panel, and hold down the mouse to drag on the artboard to place a replica of the skeleton icon.

Hold down the Symbol sprayer icon, select the Second tool on a series of pop-up icons, double-click the symbol Rotator (icon rotator) to adjust the settings, and set the rotation to random (random).

Use the Symbol Sprayer Rotator (icon rotator) to rotate each skull to a different orientation on the canvas, creating a truly random partial state.

Select symbol Sizer (icon size tool), double-click, and change the mode to random (random), and then use this tool to randomly scale the size of the icon.

Select the next skeleton icon and then return to the base symbol Sprayer (icon ejector) tool to spray more skeletons on the canvas.

Repeat before the rotation and scaling work, and then use the third skeleton to do the same thing.

Soon, the canvas will be filled with random skeletons, replacing the skull icon, repeating the spray, rotating, zooming, until the picture is filled with skeletons.

Manually drag some skeletons into the picture and fill in some voids.

Shrink the view and check the balance of the design to make sure there is no place to have a bunch of big skeletons or a group of skeletons heading in the same direction.

The individual skeleton on the screen, making the screen space is more average.

Select all the icons, group them, and use the rounded rectangle tool to draw a mock skateboard shape that has a large enough size to include these skeleton icons.

You can download this useful skateboard template from [NUNOSK8] on the Deviant ART website and open it in Photoshop.

Paste your design in and create a lifelike mock artboard.
