Step 1

Create a new document and draw a circle with the oval tool.

Step 2

Fill in the gradient panel with a radial gradient. Set the first color slider to light orange yellow, and the second slider to Orange. Next, in the gradient panel, set the position of the first color slider to 43. Select the midpoint indicator on the gradient bar to drag the position to 60. Move the gradient tool slightly from the center position to the top right.

Step 3

Creates a new circle and fills it with a radial gradient. The first slider is white and the second is light gray. Set the position of the midpoint indicator for the gradient to 87.

Step 4

Create a smaller circle in the middle, with the position relative to a circle to the right. Fills the circle with a radial gradient, with the first slider filled with light cyan and the second filled with dark cyan. Set the midpoint indicator position to 87.

Step 5

Then create a new circle in the middle of the previous circle (the one in the blue) and fill it with black. Create two smaller white circles and place them on top of the black circle. Now, one eye is ready.

Select the white eyes of the circle (translator Note: That is, the whites of the part), copied and pasted in front. Select the copy and nudge it up. Change the color to dark orange. Select the white circle again, copy and paste it in front, move the copy to the bottom, and then change the color to light.

Select all the shapes on the eye, copy and paste them in the front, then move the copy to the right of the main circle (the translator: head) and use the selection tool to narrow it down slightly.

Step 8

Use the Rectangle tool to create a rectangle that is roughly the same width as the eye, with a height of one-fourth of the eye.

Use effects-stylized-rounded corners, in the dialog box, change the radius to 10px. The radius is selectable by you, depending on the size of your work. Then adjust it until you get a similar effect on the diagram below. Then, the object is vectorization by using the object-extended appearance. (Translator Note: I think you can use the rounded Rectangle tool directly)

Step 10

Use the effect-warp-arc, select the Horizontal button in the dialog box, set the bend to 25%, set the horizontal twist to 40, and then use the object-expand appearance to extend the object.

Step 11

Fill the deformed shape with a linear gradient, the first color slider is reddish brown, and the second slider is Crimson Brown. Use the gradient tool to adjust the gradient so that the dark is below the shape.

Step 12

Copy the eyebrow shape and paste it back, select the copy, move slightly to the left, and change the copy color to dark orange.

Step 13

The two shapes of the eyebrows are all selected, and the selection tool rotates slightly to the left. Copy the eyebrow shape and paste it in the front, using the object-transform-symmetry, in the pop-up dialog box, select Vertical and then click OK. Next, move the copy to the right side of the face, above the other eye. Select the dark orange shadow copy and move it slightly to the left of the right eyebrow.
