Image magician ImageMagick is a command line image processing software, some in Photoshop and other image software to carry out a series of steps of the tedious operation, it only needs to enter a line of commands can be resolved, the efficiency of the extraordinary high. Of course, command line operations have a lot of limitations, as long as it is a tool to see it.

Because ImageMagick is a command-line program, it is not easy to see if the program installation is normal, so check. Click start → run, enter cmd in the Open Run window, press ENTER to determine, and open the Windows XP Command Prompt window. Enter command convert Logo:logo.miff and press ENTER to confirm. Then enter the command Imdisplay Logo.miff, press the ENTER key to confirm, if this time pop-up ImageMagick window, display a magician's image, it shows that the program installed all normal.

① image format conversion requires only one line of command, but also can finish cropping, flip, blur, merge and so on. Enter the following command in the Windows XP Command Prompt window (ImageMagick supports more than 100 image formats): Convert d:pic001.jpg d:pic001.png

Convert is a conversion command, with the following two parameters separated by a space, the file path (jpg format) of the source image, the converted file (PNG format), and its saved path, ImageMagick automatically recognizes the format based on the suffix name of the given file. Press ENTER, wait a moment, in the D:pic folder really more than the image file 0001.png.

② conversion reduces image at the same time, input: Convert d:pic008.bmp-resize 50% d:pic001.jpg

This is more than the previous line of-resize 50%, English means "resize", 50% to reduce the image by half. Press ENTER to execute the command, after completion into the D:pic folder to view, and indeed a 0008.jpg image file. For example, the original BMP file size is 9217KB, the converted JPG file is only 649KB, the file is more than 10 times times smaller.

③ to get the effect font, enter the following command (on the same line): Convert-size 320x85 xc:transparent-font arial-black-pointsize 72-draw "text 25,60 ' Magick '"-ch Annel Rgba-gaussian 0x6-fill darkred-stroke magenta-draw "text 20,55 ' Magick '" d:picmagick.png

You will get a text effect when you enter. -size to set the size of the image,-font for the set font,-pointsize for the set text size,-draw to write text content.
