1. Daily Management

The daily management of the integrated wiring system refers to the adjustment of the position of the Integrated Wiring jumper and the change of the label. This part of work is simple and has almost no technical content. A strict information data center should fill in a change form (electronic versions can be used) before all changes are implemented, and the change form should be approved by the relevant Supervisor (records that cannot be changed, such as signatures, faxes, and emails) before implementation. During the implementation process, unplug the patch cord to be replaced first, replace the patch cord with the appropriate length, paste the labels at both ends, and lay the patch cord along the Jumper manager, insert the two ends of the Jumper into the corresponding information outlet to avoid disorganized jumpers in the cabinet. After the change, enter the status (normal, failed, etc.) after the change in the change form, and manually record the situations in the change process on the change form. After the change is completed, the electronic change form and Change Approval Form should be centrally managed, and the paper change form should be bound into a book on schedule.

2. Routine Maintenance

Routine maintenance refers to the regular maintenance and inspection of the Integrated Wiring System during normal operation. Generally, it should be performed once every several months, instead of waiting for maintenance when a problem occurs.

Daily maintenance can do many things, including:

(1) Clear dust from the internal and external Integrated Wiring System of the Cabinet.

(2) Check the flatness of the Integrated Wiring tray. If deformation or bracket screw shedding does not match the installation drawings, rectify the problem immediately. To avoid the information service interruption caused by the broken or falling off of the cable tray.

(3) Check the labels on the twisted pair wires, panels, distribution frames, and jumpers in the data room, complete the labels that fall off, fix the labels that do not stick well, and replace the damaged labels.

(4) The performance tester is used for copper trunk channels and unused optical fiber channels (because the optical fiber channels are delicate and easy to be affected by wear and dust. Therefore, sampling inspection is not recommended for the fiber channel in use to prevent damage to the fiber channel or the fiber module of network equipment due to testing, the testing method is permanent link testing and performance testing of the Jumper used, and is checked against the original records.

(5) The electronic distribution frame system should also carry out a sampling inspection. The inspection personnel can set faults and check the response time and sound of real-time alarms. Likewise, the Integrated Wiring management software (including the software in the electronic distribution frame) should carry out manual inspection of electronic records, including the construction records and the daily records from the last maintenance to the present. The construction record should check its integrity and should not be lost or damaged.

Daily maintenance has only one purpose: eliminate hidden risks in the bud. Only in this way can the Integrated Wiring System always be durable.

3. troubleshooting

No matter how good the system is, there is a possibility of failure. At the beginning of the operation of the data center, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive troubleshooting plan. Of course, it is also valuable to develop a troubleshooting plan at any time during the operation of the data center.

After the network management system and electronic distribution frame software report an alarm or receive a fault complaint, on-duty management personnel should immediately confirm the fault and minimize the impact of the fault on the operation of the data center. After a fault occurs, you must at least complete the following tasks:

(1) confirm the fault, preliminarily determine the location of the fault (accurate to the link/channel), and narrow down the fault to the scope of integrated wiring, notify the relevant maintenance agency/Department for repair.

(2) Before the maintenance personnel arrive, use spare parts in accordance with the plan for emergency line repair. Ensure that the information transmission is smooth and then handed over to the maintenance personnel for improved repair.

(3) record the fault situation in a timely manner, including text and photos of the fault location. These records need to be kept for a long time, and regular statistics and analysis are carried out to determine the rectification plan of the Integrated Wiring System.

In the troubleshooting process, the on-duty management personnel's Integrated Wiring level is crucial for troubleshooting. For a period of time, if the administrator of the equipment room is trained repeatedly on the Integrated Wiring level and troubleshooting skills on weekdays, spare parts are provided, and necessary emergency tools and materials are prepared, it can greatly shorten the fault locating time and no fault time, and provide valuable reference for professional maintenance personnel to repair the line.

4. System Rectification

System rectification refers to the addition, reduction, and change of cable cables. This phase of work is similar to a new integrated wiring project in the information equipment room, which is difficult and cannot affect the normal operation of the equipment room in the case of system rectification. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the management methods of the Integrated Wiring project for construction preparation, installation and debugging:

(1) Before rectification, the Integrated Wiring System should fill out a change form, attach the construction drawings, and submit the form for approval. The change can be implemented only after approval.

(2) During the Rectification Process, all discarded cables (including twisted pair wires and optical cables) and jumpers should be extracted and new cables and jumpers should be added.

(3) construction personnel should formulate a complete construction plan in advance to complete their work within the shortest time, and minimize the impact on temperature and humidity, dust, and other factors in the data room.

(4) The construction shall be completed immediately and the acceptance should be organized to test the performance of the Integrated Wiring System of the rectification line and adjacent lines. Adjacent lines refer to the lines affected during rectification. For example, if a link is removed from the 24-port distribution frame for rectification, the 24 links on the distribution frame belong to adjacent lines. If a four-port front-flip module framework is used, the four links belong to the adjacent lines (because the other lines have been displaced when processing one line ); if the single-module pre-split distribution frame structure is used (that is, a single module can be removed from the front of the distribution frame for maintenance. ), There is no adjacent line.

(5) After rectification, all drawings, change orders, logs, detection reports, inspection records and relevant documents during implementation should be retained as required by the project. when conditions are met, use photos as the basic log Content.
