In Word2007, users can use the Insert Table dialog box to insert a table of the specified rows and columns, and to set the column widths of the inserted table, as described in the following steps:
In step 1th, open the Word2007 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the table button in the table group and choose Insert Table in the Open Table menu, as shown in Figure 2009010711.

Step 2nd, open the Insert Table dialog box, and set the number of rows and columns for the table in the table size area, respectively. In the AutoFit action area if the Fixed column width radio box is selected, you can set the fixed column width size of the table, and if you select the Adjust table by Content selection box, the width of the cell is automatically adjusted based on the input; If you select the Adjust table by window selection box, the inserted Table will be filled with the width of the current page. Select the remember this size for new table check box to use the current dimension when you create the table again. When you are finished, click the OK button, as shown in Figure 2009010712.
