Alphabrov is a good front-end display tool that supports webshpere well, but it has many problems in weblogic. Currently, only weblogic8.1.4 is supported, and 8.1.6 is not supported. I have to use weblogic. I encountered a lot of troubles when installing alphabrov and recorded the successful experiences as follows:

Installation environment
Windows2003,WebLogic 8.1.4 (Alphablox8.4Only supportedWeblogic8.1.4)
Installation steps:
1. Installation WebLogic 8.1.4 , set WebLogic administrator user and password.
2, Use WebLogic 8.1.4 Configuration Wizard ( Configuration Wizard ) To create Domain , Such Alphablox_domain , Server Is Myserver .
3, In Domain Configure the user ( User ), User group ( Group ) And role ( Role ), As follows:
A, On Security Create alphabloxadministrator group and alphabloxuser group
B, Create Alphabloxadministrator Role, Set Condition Is: Caller Yes Alphabloxadministrator And Alphabloxuser Part of the Group
C, Create Alphabloxuser Role, Set Condition Is: Caller Yes Alphabloxuser Part of the Group
D, Create user Admin The password is Password , And Admin Add Alphabloxadministrator And Alphabloxuser Group
4, Install Alphablox8.4 , Specify to deploy WebLogic Server, and specify the domain directory, specify the domain as 2 Step by step Domain And Server .
5, Install Alphabrov After completion, go WebLogic Installation Directory Domain Directory Alphabrov Directory, such: .. \ Bea \ user_projects \ Domains \ alphablox_domain , Edit Startweblogic. cmd File, add a" Call "D: \ Program Files \ IBM \ DB2 alphabrov \ bin \ aassetup. Bat" ", Where" D: \ Program Files \ IBM \ DB2 alphabrov "Is Alphabrov Installation path.
6. Start alphablox_domain myserver .
7. open alphabrov Management page, enter the user name and password, and enter admin/password to go to the page.
