Install and delete website templates

Overview:
Upload a website template designed or downloaded to the server.
Method:
1. Download the solution's exe file or write the template file to C: \ Program Files \ common files \ microsoft shared \ Web Server Extensions \ 12 \ bin
2. Run the EXE file and decompress the template file locally (skip this step if it is a self-designed website template ).
3. In the decompressed file, select the solution file named templatecore. WSP. This solution file will be added to the solution storage of Windows SharePoint Services.
4. Run the "stsadm-O addsolution-filename applicationtemplatecore. WSP" command through the command line.
5. The next step is to run "stsadm-O deploysolution-applicationtemplatecore. WSP-allowgacdeployment-local ".
6. In the last step, Run "stsadm-O copyappbincontent"
7. The core solution of this application template has been added to the solution storage and applied to the server.

6. Select the template to use for this site and click
Create.
