Install ffmpeg using yum in CentOS6.4

1. Install required software

Yum install-y automake autoconf libtool gcc-c ++

2. Install third-party update sources

Rpm-ivh http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el6/en/i386/rpmforge/RPMS/rpmforge-release-0.5.3-1.el6.rf.i686.rpm

3. Install ffmpeg

Yum install ffmpeg-devel

Multiple decoders are automatically installed. The ffmpeg version is 0.6.5-1. el6.rf. I have seen that the decoder version installed by yum is not very old, but the ffmpeg version is old.

4. Test it.
Convert a. avi video to. flv format

Ffmpeg-I Destination. avi-y-AB 56-ar 22050-r 15-sameq test2.flv

Compare the formats of the two files before and after conversion:
