The installation process is simple,
First, find the desired version at http://www.mono-project.com/downloads/index.html,
My system is Fedora Core 2,
Download mono-all.zip
Decompress the package to a separate folder,
Then enter the following in terminal:
Rpm-IVH *. rpm -- nodeps
An error message is displayed, prompting that the gtksourceview package has a conflict,
It doesn't matter. We should first uninstall the built-in gtksourceview:
Rpm-e gtksourceview -- nodeps
Then start again:
Rpm-IVH *. rpm -- nodeps
Wait for a while and you will be prompted that the installation is successful.
(Note: The nodeps parameter is very important)
If the installation is successful, enter
Mono-V
You can see the version information of Mono.
At the same time, two items are added to the "programming" in the System Menu: monodevelop and monodoc.
(If not, log out and try again)
Mono ide developed by monodevelop is still easy to use ......
