(Because I don't know how to use the trackback function, I have to mark the source of the article here. I haven't found out how to use the trackback function in csdn for a day. It's very depressing. If that man understands it, give me some guidance, thank you !)
Install the CVS service in Windows2000
□Text/arbow
1. Download cvsnt from the http://www.cvsnt.org/wiki.
2. Download tortoisecvs from http://sourceforge.net/projects/tortoisecvs.
3. Install cvsnt and restart as prompted.
4. Open the control panel and click the "cvs for NT" icon. Click the repositories tab to create a CVS repository. Create a directory G: cvsroot, check the repository pre, and select the Created directory as the repository prefix. Click Add below and enter G:/cvsroot/Java in enter path to new root. If the program prompts that it does not exist, click "yes" to create it.
5. Click Services Status, stop two services, and then start.
6. Add a CVS user. Open the DOS window in the cvsnt directory. Then enter:
Set cvsroot =: pserver: Administrator@127.0.0.1:/Java
CVS passwd-r administrator-A arbow
The above two sentences mean to set the cvsroot variable first, where the Administrator is my current account in 2000 and/Java is the repository just created. The second sentence is to create a user named arbow for this cvs repository. Enter the user password twice. Remember. Finally add a cvsroot in the environment variable with the value pserver: Arbow@127.0.0.1:/test. So far, the CVS server has been installed, and the next step is the client.
7. If the development environment you are using has the CVS management function, you do not have to install tortoisecvs and use them directly in the development environment. Otherwise, install tortoisecvs and restart as prompted.
