When Windows 7 is installed, it is not installed in ahci mode, but in IDE mode. After installation, you want to change it to ahci mode. However, after the installation, you can start the blue screen and restart the computer. The following describes the solution.
If the system is installed in IDE mode, because SATA ahci is not enabled before the new system is installed, and SATA ahci is enabled after the system is installed, a blue screen is displayed after the system is started, and cannot enter the system. Ahci Driver disabled in win7/vsitaProgram(Msahci. sys). You must enable the SATA driver before changing it to the ahci mode.
To solve this problem, enable the ahci driver in the registry before changing the SATA mode of the boot drive. To do this, follow these steps:
Exit all Windows-based programs.
Click Start, type Regedit in the Start search box, and then press Enter.
If the "User Account Control" dialog box is displayed, click "continue ".
Find and click the following registry subitem:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/system/CurrentControlSet/services/msahci
In the right pane, right-click "start" in the "name" column and click "modify ".
In the value data box, type 0 and click OK ".
On the File menu, click exit to close the registry editor.
After restart, the ahci driver will be installed automatically. After installation, restart the ahci driver.
