Installation and configuration of five fedora versions and Pinyin Input Methods

Starting from fedora 9, the newly introduced ibus Input Method Framework replaces the scim Input Method Framework of the old version. Therefore, whether the Pinyin input method or the five-stroke input method is installed on fedora 15, you must first install ibus, if not, run the following command:

# Yum install ibus-table-Chinese-wubi-Jidian

After completing the installation, click activites> Applications> Input Method selector> Use ibus> Input Method preferences> input method> check customize active input methmod> select an input method> show all input methods> Chinese> pinyin/wubi> Add

Fedora14 calls up five letters and Pinyin

In fact, after fedora 14 is installed, the default input method ibus should be installed, and the pinyin module has been installed in the system.
You only need to manually configure the system for use.

Enable ibus:
System-> preferences-> Input Method selector select use ibus

Then logout Login

Configure ibus again
Right-click the ibus icon-> preferences-> input method-> select an input method-> Chinese-> pinyin, and click Add on the right.

In this way, the input method is configured.
