Configuration of Apache:
1. Turn on the PHP module
To see if the mods-enabled/php5.load exists and does not exist, copy one to mods-enabled from the mods-avaliable.
Settings for 2.apache2.conf:
<directory/> Options followsymlinks allowoverride None #Require all denied Order deny, Allow to </Directory>
Settings for 3.sites-available/000-default.conf:
/var/www/html
From the above you can see that the root directory is:/var/www/html, then you can copy the source code of mediaphp to this directory and rename it to MediaWiki.
4. Resolve 403 Errors
If HTTP access localhost:80/mediawiki/still has a 403 error, it is most likely because the Apache2 startup execution user does not have permission to run the PHP source file under that directory.
Chmod-r 555 mediawiki/
5. Configuration of MediaWiki:
Open your server to set up the site address, will automatically jump to the first page, and then follow the prompts step by step setting the database, etc., and finally generate a configuration file called: "LocalSettings.php", put the file into the MediaWiki root directory, or Mw-config (different version, it seems that the address is different), and then set the access rights of the file.
