The Hue website cannot be downloaded and timed out.
Install using the CDH version.

Install dependent packages

My system is CentOS, install CentOS dependency package;
Yum install ant asciidoc cyrus-sasl-devel cyrus-sasl-gssapi cyrus-sasl-plain gcc gcc-c++ krb5-devel libffi-devel libtidy L Ibxml2-devel libxslt-devel make MySQL mysql-devel openldap-devel python-devel sqlite-devel openssl-devel gmp-devel-y
Download maven apache-maven-3.3.3-bin.tar.gz
Decompression TAR-XZVF apache-maven-3.3.3-bin.tar.gz-c/usr/
Setting MAVEN Environment variables
$vi ~/.bash_profile
Export maven_home=/usr/apache-maven-3.3. 3 = $PATH: $MAVEN _home/bin
The JDK is already installed, so it is not installed and can be installed on your own.
Unpacking the installation package
TAR-XZVF hue-3.9.0-cdh5.5.0.tar.gz-c/usr/
Extract the files into the/usr/directory;
Build
cd/usr/hue-3.9.0-cdh5.5.0
Make Apps
Build succeeded!
Start the service
Cd/usr/hue-3.9.0-cdh5.5.0/build/env/bin
./supervisor
The hue user cannot be found
Workaround:
1. Create a Hue user
AddUser Hue
Then start the service again;
Launch successfully!
Accessing the Web
http://node1:8888
Database is read-only
Workaround:
Modify data file permissions
chmod 777 Desktop
chmod 766 Desktop/desktop.db
Then refresh the page again
Enter user name, password
The page then jumps to the following:
The page has a lot of error messages, because the configuration is not set, the next article will explain the configuration.
