First step: Install the language pack

Go to "System Settings"

To find the "Language support" item, click Enter

Select "Install/remove Languages"

Find "Chinese (Simplified)" and put the back on the hook.

Then click on "Apply Changes"

Wait for some time

Step Two: Install the Ibus framework

Bring up terminal terminal, enter command: sudo apt-get install ibus ibus-clutter ibus-gtk ibus-gtk3 ibus-qt4

Start the Ibus frame and enter the command under Terminal:im-switch-s Ibus

PS: After installing the Ibus frame, remember to restart or log off the system, to ensure that the changes take effect.

Step Three: Install the Pinyin engine

There are a lot of pinyin engine to choose from, the general installation of one is enough, such as I directly installed the first

Ibus Pinyin:sudo apt-get install Ibus-pinyin

Ibus Wubi:sudo apt-get install Ibus-table-wubi

Google Pinyin:sudo apt-get install Ibus-googlepinyin

Sun Pinyin:sudo apt-get install Ibus-sunpinyin

Fourth Step: Setting the Ibus frame

Enter the command in Terminal:ibus-setup

After execution, a Ibus Preference setting box is automatically called

Select the "Input Method" above

Select the appropriate Chinese input method, then click "Add"

Note: It is best to install what input method to Add what input method

Here can also set up the appropriate input method to the shortcut key, the default is "Ctrl+space"
