In China, comprehensive business digital networks have also been activated between major cities. It is foreseeable that in the near future, information communication will enter an integrated business digital network era. Therefore, during the design and planning of a financial building, we should consider that the information channel should meet the requirements of different network interconnection devices, hosts, terminals and peripherals, in order to form a flexible topology with sufficient scalability, the external network can be connected to other buildings outside China through the integrated digital business network ISDN, forming a comprehensive information exchange system. That is to say, a financial building must meet the current information processing needs and fully consider the future development trend of residential technology.
Taking a bank's integrated office building as an example, we will describe the Application of Integrated Wiring in financial buildings.
Project Overview
A bank is a large commercial bank. The total construction area of the integrated office building is 22.6 thousand square meters. The ground floor is 16 floors, and the ground floor is 2 floors. The ground floor from 1 to 4 is a podium, and the ground floor above 5 is a standard floor. Taking layer 6 as an example, the horizontal trough is derived from the weak current room and radiating to each room. According to the electrical design specifications of the building, galvanized metal cable trough is used for horizontal cable trough. The pipeline of each room adopts a wall-type metal pipe, which leads to 30 cm from the ground, and is connected to the information outlet by means of a hidden junction box. In addition, the computer master data center, network center, and program-controlled switch of the building are located on the fifth floor of the building, and the monitoring system master data center is located on duty in the lobby on the first floor. 1 to 2 floors are the business halls.
Design Scheme
According to users' specific requirements, integrated cabling includes three parts: Computer Network System, voice system, and security monitoring system. The Integrated Wiring of the building consists of the work zone and Horizontal sub-system. The management zone, trunk subsystem, and equipment are composed of five parts. The high reliability, high-speed transmission characteristics, and scalability are fully considered, and the possibility of connecting to other buildings to build trunk subsystems is considered.
The computer backbone network adopts the FDDI standard suitable for Optical Fiber Distributed Data interfaces. The network bandwidth reaches Mbps or more, and data and images can be transmitted at high speed, greatly improving the information transmission quality and reliability, the channels for workstations on different floors to access the FDDI network are also considered.
Optical fiber cables are used for computer network trunk lines. All cabling hardware connected to the computer network are 5 categories of 100 Mbps. These products include 5 categories of information sockets, 5 categories of fast jumpers, and 5 types of twisted pair cables. This not only satisfies the current needs, but also lays the foundation for multimedia applications.
The programmable telephone is centrally managed by the master data center. Each line is configured with four pairs of twisted pair cables and the designed bandwidth is 10 Mbps. This can meet the needs of the integrated business digital network, this laid the foundation for high-speed data transmission.
The security monitoring system can transmit video monitoring signals and Security sensor signals.
Solution details
Integrated Wiring: a flexible star topology is used to construct different logical structures by jumpers or network devices on the distribution frame. It is applicable to the needs of program-controlled telephones, it is also suitable for computer network systems, security monitoring systems, and building control systems. The structure of Integrated Wiring is divided into two levels: primary cadres are classified into level 1 and level 2 cadres. The star structure center of the main part is located in the main building, radiating to each floor, and the transmission medium is optical fiber and large logarithm twisted pair cable. the horizontal part of the star structure center is located in the wiring room of each floor, A horizontal twisted pair cable is derived from the distribution frame to various information points. In this way, a two-layer star-based two-point management mode is formed to achieve the flexibility of Integrated Wiring in connection and configuration.
The following describes the five parts of the entire wiring one by one.
1. Work Zone
The work zone is composed of office areas and is divided into one to four-hole information sockets based on specific requirements. The five types of information sockets support high-speed data communication, image communication, and speech communication at or below Mbps.
Each information outlet can support a low-speed data terminal or two telephone terminals through a K outlet), so that the Integrated Wiring is highly scalable.
2. Level Subsystem
The average length of the Horizontal sub-system is 45 meters considering the location of the weak current room and the location of the information outlet according to the specific civil structure characteristics of the comprehensive Office Building of the bank, data and video transmission uses category 5, 4 pairs of twisted pair cables, and supports 10 Mbps transmission rate. Category 3 and Category 5 twisted pair cables have strong anti-interference performance and high redundancy, so that the Integrated Wiring has high reliability.
3. Management Zone
Based on the statistics of the number of information points at each layer, a total of five floor wiring rooms are set up on the fifth floor without separate floor wiring rooms). The numbers and information points of each wiring room are shown in the following table.

In each layer of the wiring room, a 110-type cable distribution frame, an optical fiber distribution frame and necessary network interconnection equipment are set up. A 110-type cable distribution frame consists of two parts: one part is used to connect a large pair of twisted pair cables to a trunk line, and the other part is used to connect a horizontal trunk line. The optical distribution frame is used to connect the trunk optical fiber.
4. Trunk Subsystem
In the integrated wiring of the Bank Building, the computer network system trunk line uses 6-core 62.5/125 μM multi-mode optical fiber cable, and the outgoing traffic can reach more than Mbps, in the future, it will provide sufficient margin for the application of computer systems, meeting the needs of high-speed transmission to the maximum extent. The telephone trunk line uses three types of 100 pairs of large pairs of twisted pair cables. Each layer is equipped with a cable from the floor wiring room, which can support 10 Mbps transmission rate, meeting the current needs, it also lays a solid foundation for multimedia technology applications. The O & M monitoring and pulling system uses five types of 25 pairs of twisted pair cables. Each layer is equipped with a cable from the floor wiring room, which supports a transmission rate of 100 Mbps.
5. device room
The computer network uses two fiber distribution frames 400A2) to centrally manage the computers in the entire building. Through simple jumper management, you can easily configure the Extension Structure of the computer network in the building.
The program-controlled telephone and security monitoring system still uses the 110 cable distribution frame to manage Terminal devices through jumpers.
