Two computers in the same network to transfer files, can be done in the following ways:
1. Copy and paste with U-disk.
2, have chat software or e-mail sent
3. Share with LAN.
Steps to share files on your LAN:
1, both computers are connected to the same router.
2. Right-click the desktop network----properties----change advanced sharing settings
3. Select a public network---Select the following options: Start Network Discovery------start file and Printer Sharing-----Enable sharing so that users who can access the network can read and write to files in public folders (not selectable)----Turn off password-protected sharing (other options use default values)
4, save, and determine.
5. Select the folder or drive you want to share, right-click-Properties
6. Open the Security tab--Select Edit--add--everyone.
7. Open the Sharing tab----Select the sharing---pop-up dialog---add "Guest"---share
8. Select Advanced Sharing----Select Share this file----OK
9. Select Advanced Sharing----Choose Share this file--Select permissions--Add everyone.
10, double-click on another computer to open the network, you will see the folder you just shared or the letter.
Note: To prevent accidental errors, turn off both computers ' firewalls.
