Saber software and other EDA tool software interfaces are mainly in four forms
1. Schematic Interface
2. simulation interface (collaborative simulation)
3. Data Interface (MATLAB Interface)
4. Model Interface
1. schematic interface-use schematic input tools of other EDA software for schematic input (the symbol library is provided by saber). In this environment, saberguide and saberscope can be called, saberguide is used to set the analysis environment, saberscope is used to view the analysis results, and some interactive functions are supported. Install the frameway tool in the Saber software.
1.1 saber is the same as the mentor software interface.
The frameway of the Saber software supports the schematic input tool (UNIX platform) of the en2001.1 software package of mentor)
Design Technical Ech
Design viewpoint Editor
Desing Manager
In the design manager environment, you can start the design viewpoint editor and design idea Ech tools. After installing the tool integration package (self-included in frameway, you can start saberguide and saberscope in the design manager environment through the menu and toolbar. The design viewpoint editor is not a schematic input tool. Therefore, you cannot use the symbol library provided by the Saber software after installing the tool integration package (embedded in frameway), but it supports the cross probe (crossprobe) back-annotation and alter command in saber. Desing connector ECT is a schematic input tool. Therefore, after installing the tool integration package (embedded in frameway), you can use the symbol library provided by the Saber software and support some interactive functions. For detailed information, see mentorgraphicsref.pdf.
1.2 saber is the same as the software interface of cadence.
The Saber software frameway supports Cadence's schematic input tool (UNIX platform) cds4.45/4.46. ICMs is a schematic input tool. Therefore, after installing the tool integration package (embedded in frameway), you can use the symbol library provided by the Saber software and support some interactive functions. For detailed information, see cadenceref.pdf.
1.3 saber is the same as the software interface of viewlogic.
The Saber software's frameway supports viewlogic's schematic Input Tool epd2.0 (Windows NT platform)-workview/viewdraw is a schematic input tool. Therefore, the Installation Tool integration package (included in frameway) in the future, you can use the symbol library provided by the Saber software and provide detailed interaction functions. For information, see viewlogicref.pdf.
(Note: viewlogic has been acquired by mentor, and its products are now in the EPD package)
1.4 interfaces between saber and edif standard (Electronic Document Interchange Format). The Saber software frameway supports edif2.0 standard (UNIX platform)
