Intranet ubuntu11.04 network configuration and VPN connection

1. First configure the wired connection in the VPN configuration.

2. perform the following operations:
Sudo gedit/etc/Network/interfaces

Auto Lo
Iface lo Inet loopback
Auto eth0
Iface eth0 Inet static
Address xxxx
Netmask xxxx
Gateway xxxx

Sudo gedit/etc/resolv. conf
Nameserver 10.10.0.21

Then
Sudo/etc/init. d/networking restart

Last

Sudo VPN-Connect

3. Install the VPN Deb software package.

4. Configuration: Run sudo VPN-connect-C on the terminal and follow the prompts to perform the operation (Note: Add @ D or @ A to the VPN user)

5. After connecting to the portal, you can use VPN-connect to the Internet:

• VPN-Connect (established connection)
• VPN-connect-D (disconnect)

Note: You need to use the root account to run VPN-Connect!
