Introduction to Emacs magit
---------------------
1. What is magit?
Before introducing magit, let's take a look at what git is. Git is an open-source version control software developed by Linux Torvalds to help manage Linux kernel development, it is a fast and Scalable Distributed version control system. It has a rich set of commands and provides advanced operations and full access to internal systems. Magit is only an encapsulation of git calls, allowing you to easily use git in Emacs. In magit, you can use Emacs to check and modify git repositories; you can perform the commit operation on the tracked file, view the modification history in Emacs, and perform other operations. It should be noted that magit is not a full git package, but provides some common git calls.
