JSF2.0 has passed the final vote. JSF has implemented all the characteristics of the commitment. JSF2.0 introduced many popular third party extensions (including Facelets, seam, and AJAX4JSF) to the specification. Looking back to July 07, I (Gavin King) wrote a list of wishes and was pleased to see that most (and even more) features had been implemented. This specification requires a tremendous amount of work to complete, so please join me in thanking the expert members. Of course, I should also be particularly thankful to my team members (Dan Allen and Pete Muir) who work late every day for a number of important features.
