Keynote comes with a number of Apple-designed themes to help you create your presentation. After you select a topic, you will use slides to build your presentation. The finished presentation can be displayed on your Mac, IPad, IPhone, IPod touch, or in iCloud with a browser supported on your Mac or PC. The basic tutorial on keynote for this issue is: how to create or open a presentation.
First, create a new presentation
1. Choose File > New, or click New Presentation at the bottom of the Open dialog box.
2. Double-click the theme of the presentation.
3. Do any of the following to build the presentation:
Click "+" to add a slideshow.
Double-click the placeholder text to add your own text.
Click in the lower-right corner of the placeholder image to add your own image.
4. Choose File > Save, and you can enter a name and choose a location for the presentation.
Save your presentation to ICloud to access your presentation from any authorized device, or from icloud.com in a browser that is supported on your MAC or PC.
Second, open an existing presentation
1. You can open a presentation that's stored on your Mac or in ICloud. You can also open a PowerPoint presentation.
Choose File > Open, select the presentation, and then click Open.
2. If you don't see a presentation stored in icloud, you might want to set up icloud on your MAC or open icloud's documents and data.
3. To set up ICloud, choose Apple Menu () > System Preferences, then click ICloud. Select Documents and Data.
