The title should be called the network sharing solution in a difficult environment, because our office does not have a network cable, and the only way to access the Internet is a 3G network card ,--!!

In the initial network sharing solution, a notebook inserts a 3G Nic to dial the Internet and then shares the wireless network with other users.

But every day at work, the plug-in is required, and another desktop computer is not available, so the following solution has been created.

Overview:

The desktop acts as a proxy server to complete the 3G dialing task. A Wireless AP is added to the LAN. Other clients connect to the LAN to access intranet resources and access internet resources through the proxy server.

Environment:

Windows Server 2003 (desktop)

3G network card

Process:

First, ensure that the desktop can access the Internet normally. The local connection of the desktop is connected to the Intranet. Then, the wireless network card (3 GB in connection) is inserted and the dial-up client is provided. After the dial-up is successful, an existing local connection exists in the network connection area. Right-click the connection and choose Properties> TCP/IP properties> advanced. Under the ipsettings tab,Cancel the [automatic hop count] and set the interface hop count to 1.. Now open the browser and test the function. The system should be able to access intranet resources and the Internet at the same time (that is, the LAN wired interface and 3G wireless network interface work simultaneously ).

Next, add the HDCP role to the server 03 system. For example, the CIDR Block of the local LAN is 192.168.1/24, and some devices have been allocated statically. New devices need to be added to the same CIDR block, DHCP can select 192.168.1.100-120 as the address pool to avoid conflicts with other IP addresses. At the same time,Set the scope of the DHCP service, You need to add DNS (114.114.114.114, or other public network DNS, which is important; otherwise, the client may not be able to access the Internet), and add the scope option gateway, for example, our vro address is 192.168.1.254, which is an intranet gateway.

Server 03 install the proxy software CCProxy. You can download the demo version from the official website. Users below 3 are free of charge, and the software settings can be kept by default.

Add a Wireless AP to the LAN. In fact, it acts as a wireless switch. After other devices are connected, set the proxy IP address to the desktop IP address. The default port is 808, and the Intranet and Internet can also be considered later.

PS: because our desktop has two wired network interfaces, we can bridge the two interfaces so that one interface is connected to the Intranet network cable and the other interface is connected to the wireless router, set the desktop IP address to the bridge.
