Make the following settings for each host in the LAN:
1. Enable the Guest account: Control Panel-user account or management tools-Computer Management-local users and groups-right-click guest properties-remove the check box before the account is disabled.
2. Allow the guest (guest) account to access from the network: choose "start"> "Control Panel"> "Administrative Tools"> "Security Settings"> "Local Security Policy"> "deny access to the computer from the network" in the user's right assignment to check whether there is a guest and delete it if there is a guest.
3. Firewall: Control Panel-firewall-exception-select: file and printer sharing. (Default)
4. If the local account has no password, allow other machines to access the local machine: start --> control panel -- Administrative Tools -- security settings -- Local Security Policy -- security options -- account: local Accounts with blank passwords can only log on to the console. Set it to disabled. (The default value is enabled)
5. allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares (the original system allows anonymous enumeration, Which is disabled by default ). Start -- control panel -- Administrative Tools --> Security Settings -- Local Security Policy -- security options -- Network Access: anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares is not allowed. Set to disabled.
6. Sharing Mode: identity verification for local users. Start -- control panel -- Administrative Tools -- local security policies -- local policies -- Security Options, network access: sharing and security modes of Local Accounts: set to guest-local user only.
7. Enable the Server Service: start -- control panel -- Management Tools -- service -- server -- and set it to automatic and enabled.
