Some people often ask how to choose so many versions. Here is a brief introduction:

Micro (Minimum Version) can only be used for 2 MB flash

Mini edition can be used for 4 MB flash

Standard (STD standard) can be used for 4 MB flash

VoIP (with VoIP function Edition)

Mega (full version) can only be used in 8 Mb flash

There are also the newd (new driver) and VINT (old driver.

The Vint version must be used.

Both Vint and newd are available. We recommend that you use VINT.

The new newd driver version can only be used for bcm53xx series CPUs, such as bcm5325,
The old Vint driver version can only be used for bcm471x series CPU, such as bcm4712,

DD-WRT mini (mini edition) and STD (Standard Edition) the firmware is about the same size, and can be flushed as long as there is 4 MB of Flash space.
but STD (Standard Edition) firmware supports a lot more features than mini, So we generally do not recommend you brush the mini version, you need to brush the STD (standard version) firmware.
